All of Preferred Organics Goat's Milk Soap is made with saponified vegetable oils and carefully selected ingredients to produce a rich lather and to moisturize and soothe your skin. We use herbs, garden botanicals, exotic butters, organic essential oils and natural fragrance oils to produce a bar of soap that is unique and offers an exceptional bathing experience.
Unlike conventionally manufactured soap, our soap contains absolutely no animal by products, sodium laurel sulphate, artificial preservatives or petroleum distillates. The glycerin is naturally derived as is our farm fresh goat's milk. We do not use hormones, antibiotics or other unnecessary and unhealthy chemicals on our goats.
Our specialty soap is formulated with a synergistic blend of ingredients to aid in healing skin problems that most commercial soap will surely aggravate.
The vast majority of 'commercially manufactured' bar soap is made from animal fat, which studies have shown, contain bacteria that remains in your soap. It may also contain petroleum distillates and heavy artificial perfumes comprised of phthalates. All of these synthetics may irritate your skin and will eventually be absorbed by your body.
In the U.S. approximately 75% of liquid soap is antibacterial. The main ingredient
used to make soap antibacterial is Triclosan which is a chlorophenol compound
from a class of chemicals suspected of causing cancer in humans.
The CDC has determined that washing with plain soap and water is as effective as using antibacterial products.
